Description
Sowing Instructions – Sow indoors, March-May, in trays or pots of seed compost, with a little warmth. Keep moist. Transplant seedlings, if necessary, into small pots. Plant out to final position in late summer, when large enough to handle. Flowers: late spring to early summer.
Hints and Tips – Known for their exceptional hardiness, Sempervivums truly live up to their name, which translates to ‘always living’. Give them a position in full sun and an impoverished sharply-drained soil or compost with plenty of grit added: don’t be tempted to feed or over-water as they thrive on neglect!
Seeds – Approx 50
