Children's Veggie Gift Set

Our gift set is the perfect way to encourage our children to grow their own vegetables and enjoy the rewards of watching them grow and eating them. Looking after a garden helps teach children how to take care of other living things.
The anticipation of waiting for those vegetables to shoot through the soil will encourage children to interact and engage. Gardening presents wonderful opportunities for children to bond and help each other look after and nurture their vegetables.

The set includes 3 of our cute Seedlings Tubes, which are biodegradable and include growing instructions, these tubes come in a hessian drawstring bag with a label.

Spinach F1
Vigorous, all season spinach with thick, glossy leaves that are smooth to slightly savoyed.

Runner Bean Enorma
This variety produces long slender pods with superb flavour and makes for a good exhibition choice. Of all the different types of pulses, Runner Beans are probably the most popular variety for home growing.

Sweetcorn F1
A very early 'extra tender' variety. Specifically bred to give very sweet and tender cobs which are juicy and succulent. The vigorous plants produce heavy cobs.

Also included is a childrens story book and a watering can for children to have lots of fun watering their vegetables. It is the ideal size for chldren and has a fixed water spout.
