Description
Latin Name – Brassica napobrassica
Sowing Instructions – Sow Outdoors : May-July. At a depth of 1.5cm/half inch. Allow 45cm/18in between rows and eventually thin out to allow 25cm/10in between plants. Keep well watered and weed free. Roots can be left in the ground until required or lift and store in a cool, frost-free place and cover with straw or dry sand.
Hints and Tips – Very hardy roots, useful in winter. HEALTH BENEFITS: Good source of vitamin C, Calcium, Potassium and Magnesium.
