This is a very compact variety of the Forget-Me Not, which produces lots of clear rose flowers in the spring.

The ideal time to sow is June to August undercover at room temperature. Transplant and grow on before hardening off plant out during the summer. It flowers from June onwards.

Description

Latin Name Myosotis sylvatica

Sowing Instructions – Sow indoors. Surface sow onto moist well-drained seed compost. Press seeds lightly into the soil cover with soil as darkness is needed for germination. Ideal temp. 20-21C. Germination takes 4-30 days. Once seedlings are large enough to handle prick out to 25cm spacing. Can be sown directly where they are to flower after danger of frost has passed. Can be sown under glass in Sep. for overwintering and germination the following spring.

Hints and Tips – Prefers light, well-drained soil in full or partial sun. Will tolerate poor soils
