Description
Latin Name – Anethum graveolens
Sowing Instructions – Indoors – Sow 0.5com deep in small pots of compost. Water well and place in a warm position. A temperature of 15-20c is ideal. Plants can be grown on a light windowsill.
Outdoors – Sow thinly where the Dill is to crop, 1.5cm deep directly into finely prepared soil which has already been watered. Seedlings should appear in 14-21 days. Water well until the plants are established. Thin to 15cm apart.
Hints and Tips – Pick the leaves as required, pick small and from multiple plants, these will soon be replaced. Gather seed heads when they turn light brown.
